Vintage Ford pickups with Chevy/GM engines and transmissions are quite common but a GM pickup with Ford power is a rarity. This restored, customized, and upgraded 1951 GMC 100 Pickup Street Rod has taken the Ford powertrain theme even further—the whole platform is from a 1995 Lincoln. The Lincoln body was jettisoned and the entire chassis, suspension, engine, and transmission were slipped under the restored sheet metal of this 1951 GMC pickup. The Lincoln interior, including the dashboard, was also modified to fit inside the GMC 5-window cab. The result is a classically styled Jimmy street rod pickup that drives like a modern car and looks amazing.
